Terms & Conditions


·         All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars and include delivery within New Zealand.

·         We reserve the right to vary our prices without notice.

·         All product information and specifications is provided by our suppliers and NZGizmo cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of this information.

When you sign up for a NZGizmo account you are indicating that you agree to our terms and conditions . You are responsible for reading these terms in detail, indexed here.


REFUNDS & RETURNS



·         In any case where the item is deemed faulty, or has a manufacturing fault we reserve the right to repair or replace the item when it falls under the manufacturer’s warranty.

·         Claims for faulty or defective items must be notified to us within 48 hours of delivery.

·         The purchaser is solely responsible for returning the goods to NZGizmo at their own expense, and all returns must be received within 14 days of notification.  Return postage is non-refundable.

·         Products and all accessories must be returned with their original packaging.

·         It is the purchaser’s responsibility to establish the products compatibility with its intended use.  Please read the products specifications carefully.  No refund will be accepted for products that are incorrectly ordered or unsuitable.

·         We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the goods are returned in an unreasonable condition.



WARRANTY



·         All products carry a 12 month Manufacturers Warranty unless otherwise specified.

·         Proof of purchase is required for all Warranty claims.

·         All Warranty claims must be made by the original purchaser of the item, warranty is not transferable to any subsequent purchasers.

·         Purchasers in New Zealand have recourse under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.



PAYMENT



·         We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Direct Debit.

·         Please note that the currency conversion amounts appearing on product pages are for informational purposes only and they are approximate amounts in the converted currency.  The consumer's credit card will be charged in New Zealand dollars and that the converted amounts are not necessarily the exact amount which will appear on the consumer's credit card statement.





SHIPPING



·         All products are distributed directly from our overseas suppliers and sent either by courier such as Fedex, UPS, DHL; by airmail or by bulk freight forwarder.  Delivery times vary depending on which method is used but are typically 4 – 6 days, but could take up to 15 days.  We reserve the right to ship the item by any means we see fit.

·         We are not responsible for any delayed delivery due to circumstances beyond our control.

·         Shipping and customs clearance are handled by the courier companies.

·         NZGizmo will not be responsible for any additional customs requirements or costs not normally covered by the freight carrier.

·         A physical delivery address is required, a P O Box address is not acceptable.

·         All parcels require a signature upon delivery.





All Activities on this website are governed by the laws of New Zealand.



All information entered in NZGizmo website will be kept strictly confidential and will not be distributed to any third party under any circumstances.  From time to time we may send you product information including special offers (via e-mail ).  If at any time you wish to remove your name from our customer list, please notify us by email.  As required by the Privacy Act 1993 you are also entitled to check and correct the accuracy of your personal details at any time.
